The Dark Knight Rises & The A2 Art Fair

The Dark Knight Rises opens in theaters on July 20!

I just purchased two tickets at movietickets.com, for the Friday night 8pm showing of The Dark Knight Rises. This will be the final time Christian Bale will don the bat mask and cape, and for Christopher Nolan to direct it. Now, if The Avengers could surprise everyone and earn $200 million in its first weekend, I am confident that The Dark Knight could reach that mark too, but if not, be pretty close to it. I normally have Bikram Yoga class on Friday nights, but I'm putting it off to go see Batman because I have another plans on Saturday, and I have to do some class work on Sunday. So, Friday night it is, and I reckon it's going to be a madhouse!

Also this week, the 53rd Annual Ann Arbor Art Fair starts on Wednesday, July 18 through Saturday the 21st. Since I work close to the street events, I will take my camera down there and take pictures of the highlights and post them here for you. I will do this after work. It's my hopes that the weather isn't as hot as it was last week, with temps around 100 degrees. I love it hot, but oppressive hot while you're outside it's just not fun and it's dangerous. This is a very popular art fair that brings half a million people into town from ALL over Michigan, the country, and Canada!
