It is an exciting day as the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate, gave birth to a BOY today at 4:24 pm GMT. They waited several hours before releasing a statement to the press. As I have stated many times before, I'm an American infatuated with British life and history, so that makes me an Anglophile, and it's been fun waiting for this day. The yet to be named Prince will one day be King in approximately 60-70 years from now. I will not be alive to see him ascend to the throne, but it's nice to be around to see William have his first child as I was a teen myself when he was born. I feel patriotic right now... well, as much as an American can for this happy occasion in England.
